South America: A Month in Peru, Bolivia & Chile

  • Machu Picchu, one of seven wonders of the world.

  • Spent 3 days in Bolivia climbing one of South America’s tallest peaks, Huayna Potosi, which stands over 20K feet tall. 16 hours of climbing total and summited just in time for sunrise.

  • Huacachina — one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Got to buggy, sandboard, and watch the sunset.

  • Alpaca lover.

  • Celebration in the Main Plaza of Cusco.

  • Patagonia-esque Humantay Mountain.

  • Death Road: mountain-biked the world’s most dangerous road. 2 hours, 55KM, and riding from 15.5K feet to 3.3K feet above the Amazon. One of the most thrilling things I’ve ever done.

  • Lagoon in San Pedro de Atacama.

  • Rainbow Mountains.

  • Maras Salt Mines of the Incas.

  • My host family’s arts & crafts on an island in the middle of Lake Titicaca, the world’s highest navigable body of water.
